Shurooq – Khor Fakkan Beach Water Park

Shurooq - Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, has been enhancing Sharjah's appeal as an investment, tourism, and business destination, guided by local traditions and inspired by innovation, including a new Dhs 95 million development at the scenic Khor Fakkan Beach.

Wanting to create a world class attraction on their beach, Shurooq invested in an Aquafun Water Park which will be just one of the many upcoming attractions on Khor Fakkan Beach in 2020.

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Khorfakkan Beach project in December 2019, in the presence of Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), as well as a number of senior representatives from Sharjah’s state entities and project supervisors.

This first-of-its-kind largescale redevelopment and redesigning project in the Eastern region of Sharjah was launched in October 2018 by Shurooq. The project has been developed with the support of a host of government entities in Sharjah.
